We live in a digital world so it is not strange that most of PriPost customers (more than 70%) have their mail scanned by us (we forward the mail to around 25% of our customers and we store the mail for 5% of them and forward it on demand).
How does it work?
As soon as we receive mail for you, we first scan the envelope or we open it immediately to scan the content. This depends on your wishes.
The scan will be then visible in the customer portal. One of the benefits of scanning is that you usually have your mail available on the same day, regardless of where you are staying. It will be scanned immediately after we receive it in your Post Box. Another advantage is that you can neatly archive your mail digitally and that saves a lot of time and work!
Mail scanning has several primary options:
Opening and scanning all mail immediately
First receiving an envelope scan and determining follow-up treatment per envelope
What are the costs?
The costs for a scan are only € 0,55.
In case an envelope contains many pages, only the first 20 pages will be charged. The other pages are free.
Most customers choose to immediately open all mail, scan and destroy the originals. This is the most economical option because no envelope scan, destruction costs and / or forwarding costs will be charged.
